Rhino + Grasshopper Parametric Designer Required for Laser-Cut Gates, Screens & Architectural Metalwork We are a fabrication company based in Lesotho, Southern Africa, specializing in premium laser-cut architectural metalwork, including: * Decorative gates * Burglar doors * Privacy screens * Wall screens * Pergolas * Signage * Graveyard memorial fences * Custom metal artwork We are looking for a highly skilled **Rhino 3D + Grasshopper specialist** to assist with the development of a growing library of **parametric products and fabrication-ready designs**. Scope of Work The successful candidate will assist with: * Converting sketches, photographs, and concepts into production-ready 3D models. * Creating parametric Grasshopper definitions. * Generating fabrication-ready DXF files for laser cutting. * Developing scalable design systems that can automatically adjust dimensions while maintaining design integrity. * Preparing technical drawings and fabrication documentation. * Optimizing designs for sheet metal manufacturing and nesting. Typical Projects Project Type 1: Parametric Gate System Develop a gate system where the following can be modified: * Overall width * Overall height * Number of panels * Frame dimensions * Decorative motif * Sheet thickness The design should automatically update while maintaining aesthetics and manufacturability. Project Type 2: Decorative Architectural Screens Create scalable laser-cut patterns that can adapt to varying panel dimensions without distortion. Project Type 3: Memorial and Artistic Structures Develop custom artistic structures, sculptures, memorial fences, and decorative installations from concept through fabrication drawings. Deliverables For each project we typically require: * Rhino (.3dm) file * Grasshopper definition (.gh) * DXF cutting files * PDF technical drawings * Fabrication details * Assembly guidance where required Required Skills Must have strong experience in: * Rhino 3D * Grasshopper * Parametric design * Digital fabrication * Sheet metal design * Laser cutting workflows * Architectural metalwork * Technical drafting Experience with the following is highly desirable: * Python scripting within Grasshopper * Structural steel detailing * Nesting optimization * Generative design * CNC manufacturing workflows Important Please submit: 1.
