Part-Time Art Consultant / Curator (Interior Designers, Architects, & Artists) Indiewalls is a full-service art consultancy that curates bespoke art programs for commercial spaces, hospitality projects, and unique venues. We are looking to build a roster of talented, part-time freelance Curators/Art Consultants to help support our team during peak periods. We may be hiring multiple people for this role. This is a fully remote, hourly position with a flexible schedule ranging from 5 to 25 hours per week, depending on project volume and your availability. What You’ll Do: - Deep Curatorial Research: Uncover incredible independent artists, unique creators, and distinct visual styles tailored to specific project narratives. - Bespoke Proposal Design: Craft beautiful, immersive creative presentations and layout decks that help clients clearly envision how the artwork will transform and look inside their physical space. - End-to-End Aesthetic Vision: View art as a complete finished product. You aren't just looking at an image; you understand how the substrate, framing, matting, and spacers all work together to create depth and a polished presentation. Who You Are: - You have an incredibly sharp eye for contemporary design, color, composition, and interior aesthetics. - You have a background as an Interior Designer, Architect, or previous Art Consultant (candidates who are interior designers/architects and practicing artists are highly preferred). - You are highly proficient in design software, specifically Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Photoshop) and AutoCAD or similar spatial layouts tools. - You are agile, communicative, and ready to jump in and hit the ground running on fast-paced projects. Hiring Process & Exercise: Shortlisted candidates will be asked to complete a brief curatorial exercise to showcase their aesthetic eye and presentation style. - Timeframe: You will have 5 hours to complete the exercise. - Compensation: This is a fully paid exercise (we will pay for up to 5 hours of work to complete it).
