Part-Time PR Booking Assistant / Junior Publicist Needed Immediately

We're hiring a part-time PR Booking Assistant / Junior Publicist to help with active book publicity campaigns for serious nonfiction authors. The work requires strong written judgment, attention to detail, and professional communication. This is an urgent role for someone who can execute media outreach carefully and quickly. Responsibilities will include: Pitch approved media contacts from prepared materials Follow up with producers, editors, podcast hosts, and media contacts Handle VIP media lists carefully and professionally Send calendar invites and confirm interview details to clients Track outreach, responses, bookings, and next steps Update Asana, Google Sheets, or shared trackers daily Flag sensitive contacts or unusual situations before acting Help keep PR opportunities moving quickly Requirements: Prior PR, publicity, media relations, podcast booking, book publicity, or agency experience Excellent written English Strong attention to detail U.S. media fluency required AI-savvy! Comfortable sending polished professional emails Able to work quickly without being sloppy Able to follow approved pitch language Able to track every outreach step Comfortable with Google Workspace and spreadsheets Available 15–20 hours/week immediately
