Part-Time Bookkeeper (NetSuite) - CPA Preferred, AI-Curious

About us KYBORA is a boutique advisory firm. We run our accounting on NetSuite and we're looking for a reliable, detail-oriented bookkeeper to own our day-to-day books. What you'll do Categorize and record transactions in NetSuite Bank and credit card reconciliations AP/AR management and vendor bill entry Support month-end close (accruals, journal entries as needed) Keep the GL clean and audit-ready under US GAAP Flag anomalies and inconsistencies proactively — we'd rather hear about a problem early What makes this role different We actively use AI (Claude) to streamline finance workflows. We want someone who gets excited about automating the repetitive parts of bookkeeping — not someone threatened by it. If you've used AI to speed up categorization, reconciliation prep, or close checklists, tell us about it in your proposal. If you haven't yet but want to, that curiosity counts too. Requirements 3+ years of bookkeeping/accounting experience Hands-on NetSuite experience (non-negotiable) — you should be comfortable navigating the GL, reconciliations, and reports without hand-holding Solid working knowledge of US GAAP CPA strongly preferred (or equivalent qualification) Excellent written English and responsive communication Available for occasional calls between 8:00 and 21:00 Lisbon time (WET/WEST) How to apply To show you read this far, start your proposal with the word "LEDGER".
