Part-Time CFO / Accountant – Growing Nail Salon Chain (Bangkok, Thailand)

Job Description: We are an ambitious investor building "Big Daddy" Nail salon chain, a premium nail salon brand in Bangkok, Thailand. We currently operate 2 profitable locations and have aggressive expansion plans to reach 50+ stores over the next 24 Months, with long-term goals to franchise the concept. We are looking for a part-time CFO-level Accountant / Financial Controller (Thailand-based strongly preferred) to join us at this exciting ground-up stage. You will play a key role in professionalizing our finance, payroll, and HR operations to support rapid scaling. Key Responsibilities: * Set up, implement, and manage cloud-based accounting, payroll, and HR systems (e.g., Xero, QuickBooks Online, FlowAccount, And payroll tools like; FlowAccount Payroll, Empeo, Xero Payroll. * Handle full-cycle bookkeeping, monthly financial reporting, and P&L modeling. * Set up and manage payroll (including commission structures common in salons), tax compliance (Thai VAT, withholding tax, SSF), and statutory filings. * Understand/Learn existing financial models and build/maintain new financial models, cash flow forecasts, and performance dashboards in Google Sheets / Excel. * Support overall business systems setup for multi-location operations and future franchising. * Provide strategic financial insights to the investor as we scale from 2 to 50+ locations. * Work part-time (estimated 10–20 hours/week initially, scaling with the business). Requirements: * Excellent English (both written and spoken) — this is critical as the investor is an English-speaking expat. * Strong experience with cloud accounting systems, payroll/HR platforms, and business process setup. * Proficient in Google Sheets, financial modeling, P&L analysis, and bookkeeping. * Solid understanding of Thai accounting, tax, and labor regulations (or willingness to work closely with local experts). * Experience supporting small, fast-growing businesses is a big plus. * Reliable, proactive, and excited about building systems from the ground up.
