We are a growing bookkeeping and accounting practice serving small businesses, nonprofits, and service-based professionals. We specialize in accurate, efficient, and detail-oriented financial management so our clients can focus on running their businesses. Position Overview We are looking for a part-time or contract Bookkeeper to support our workload with client cleanup projects and ongoing basic bookkeeping tasks. This role is ideal for someone who is highly organized, loves the “tedious” but satisfying parts of bookkeeping, and can work independently with accuracy. Hours Flexible, approximately 5–20 hours per week to start, with potential to grow. Responsibilities Cleanup & Catch-Up Work Review and organize historical financial data Reconcile multiple months of bank, credit card, and loan accounts Identify and correct coding errors or duplicated transactions Assist in organizing supporting documentation Ongoing Bookkeeping Categorize and post transactions Maintain up-to-date books for multiple clients Reconcile accounts monthly A/P and A/R support (sending invoices, entering bills, applying payments) Prepare basic monthly financial reports Communicate with clients to request missing information Tools You’ll Use QuickBooks Online (primary) Dext/Hubdoc or client receipt apps Google Drive / Dropbox Slack or email for communication Qualifications 1–3+ years of bookkeeping experience (cleanup experience is a plus) Strong understanding of QBO (certification an asset) Excellent attention to detail and ability to work independently Ability to follow established workflows and meet deadlines Strong communication and problem-solving skills Experience with nonprofit bookkeeping is a plus (not required) What We Offer Flexible remote work Training on our systems and client workflows A supportive, collaborative working relationship Opportunities for more hours as the business grows Compensation Hourly contract rate based on experience.
