Part Time Ecommerce Growth Marketing Lead
Worldwide
We run three consumer ecommerce brands. Two are established product businesses, and one is a new consumables brand getting ready to launch. I am looking for someone who can look across the business, figure out what is working, what is not, and what we should do next. Amazon is our largest channel, but this is not an Amazon manager or PPC role. We also sell through Walmart, Newegg, WooCommerce, and potentially Etsy. Shopify experience is completely relevant. What you will work on • Customer and ICP research • Positioning and messaging tests • Website and funnel conversion • Email flows, campaigns, and retention • Paid media strategy and performance tracking • Marketplace growth and product launches • Creator partnerships, collaborations, and PR • Coordinating with designers, developers, our brand manager, and PPC team We already have Amazon and PPC support. What we need is someone who can connect the pieces, spot the biggest opportunities, and help move the work forward. Who this is for You should have real experience growing consumer ecommerce or consumables brands across more than one channel. You should understand how the website, email, paid media, marketplaces, brand, conversion, and retention all work together. You should also be comfortable asking questions, challenging ideas, and explaining why you recommend something. I am not looking for someone who agrees with everything I say. I want someone who brings a different point of view and can back it up. Strong communication matters. If something is unclear, ask. If you need more information, say so. If a recommendation is not supported by the data, explain why. You should also be comfortable using AI for research, analysis, ideation, and execution. Time and compensation This is an ongoing part time role starting at about 30 hours per month. The expected rate is $20 to $35 per hour, depending on experience and fit. Location is flexible. Strong written English and some availability for scheduled Pacific Time meetings are required. Hiring process Selected candidates will be invited to a video interview. Finalists will complete a paid ecommerce case study that should take three to four hours. It will be paid at the agreed hourly rate. Application questions Tell me about one consumer ecommerce brand you personally helped grow across more than one channel. What did you own, what changed, and what result followed? Tell me about a time customer insight or testing changed your positioning, funnel, or channel strategy. What did you learn, and what did you do next? Tell me about a time you connected several growth levers into one coordinated plan. What did you personally own, and what happened? Please use specific examples from your own work.
