## Part-Time Online Group Accountant & Odoo 18 Specialist We are seeking an experienced **Group Accountant with advanced Odoo 18 expertise** to support our growing group of companies operating in the UAE, Africa, and the United States. This is a **one-month remote independent contractor position**, with the **possibility of extending the contract based on performance and business requirements**. The position requires **19 hours per week** during **UAE Time (GST, UTC+4)**. ### Working Schedule (UAE Time) * **Monday:** 11:00 PM – 12:00 AM (1 hour) * **Tuesday:** 11:00 PM – 2:00 AM (3 hours) * **Wednesday:** 11:00 PM – 2:00 AM (3 hours) * **Thursday:** 11:00 PM – 2:00 AM (3 hours) * **Friday:** 11:00 PM – 2:00 AM (3 hours) * **Saturday:** 11:00 PM – 2:00 AM (3 hours) * **Sunday:** 11:00 PM – 2:00 AM (3 hours) ### Responsibilities * Perform daily accounting operations in Odoo 18, including recording transactions, reconciliations, journal entries, invoicing, inventory accounting, and intercompany transactions. * Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly financial reports directly from Odoo 18. * Configure and maintain Odoo Accounting, taxes, workflows, user access, and multi-company settings. * Develop and customize Odoo modules using Python, XML, ORM, QWeb, and Odoo Studio. * Troubleshoot existing custom modules and implement improvements. * Maintain code using Git and prepare technical documentation. * Provide remote support and training to accounting staff using Odoo. ### Required Qualifications * Strong accounting background with practical financial reporting experience. * Proven hands-on experience with **Odoo 18 Accounting** in a multi-company environment. * Experience with Odoo Studio and backend development (Python, XML, ORM, QWeb, Git). * Excellent reconciliation, analytical, and communication skills. * Ability to work independently and consistently meet deadlines. ### How to Apply Please submit: * A summary of your accounting and Odoo experience. * Examples of Odoo customizations or modules you have developed. * GitHub, portfolio, or project links (if available). * Confirmation that you are available to work during the specified UAE working hours.
