Part-Time Operations & Recruiting Coordinator (Staffing/Procurement Support)

I run a small IT staffing and procurement business serving government agency clients in the NYC area. I need a reliable part-time coordinator to take repeatable administrative work off my plate so I can focus on growth — not someone to design processes, but someone who executes documented ones consistently and communicates clearly. Scope of work: • Resume screening against a provided checklist; logging candidates in a tracker • Scheduling interviews; sending confirmation and reminder emails • Sending templated status updates to candidates and hiring managers • Drafting quotes from vendor price sheets (template provided) • Tracking bid/quote deadlines and following up • Inbox triage on a dedicated shared inbox (not personal email access) • Light data entry in Google Sheets Must-haves: • Excellent written English (you’ll write client-facing emails daily) • Experience in recruiting coordination, staffing agency admin, or similar ops support • Comfortable in Outlook and Google Sheets • Available for at least 3-4 hours of EST overlap daily To be considered, please answer in your proposal: 1. Note your weekly availability and EST overlap hours I’ll prioritize applicants with past client feedback specifically mentioning communication and responsiveness. Engagement: Part-time, 15-20 hrs/week to start. 2-week paid trial period before scaling hours. Potential for long-term, growing engagement for the right fit.
