Part-Time Paralegal for Solo Plaintiff Law Firm (PI + Workers' Comp) — Case Ownership
Worldwide
I'm a solo plaintiff-side attorney looking for a reliable part-time paralegal to take ownership of assigned case files and keep them moving. Start at roughly 20–30 hours per week, with room to grow if it's a good fit. The core need is ownership. Right now I'm the bottleneck on file movement, and I want someone who can run assigned matters end-to-end rather than wait to be told each step. Day-to-day that looks like: - Ordering and organizing medical records, and following up with providers - Drafting demand letters - Summarizing medical records - Tracking settlement readiness in Clio Manage (my case management system) - Proactively flagging blockers and sending me weekly status updates MY PRACTICE AREAS: Personal injury / car wrecks and Georgia workers' compensation, with some Longshore / Defense Base Act work. WHO I'M LOOKING FOR: - Hands-on U.S. personal injury paralegal experience (demands, medical records, settlement coordination) is required - Georgia workers' comp familiarity is a bonus, not a requirement — I'm prepared to train on Georgia specifics - Strong written English and clear communication - Proactive, ownership-minded, comfortable managing files with minimal hand-holding - Bilingual English/Spanish is a plus for future growth, but strong English-language case management is the immediate priority SCOPE NOTE: This role is focused on legal case work only. It does NOT include client intake, marketing, or CRM/marketing-automation tasks. STRUCTURE: I'd like to run the first 60–90 days as a trial so we can both confirm it's the right fit, with more frequent check-ins early on, moving to weekly once we've built trust. TO APPLY, begin your proposal with the exact phrase: I am your next paralegal! Then please answer: 1. Describe a U.S. PI case you managed end-to-end — what did you personally handle from records to demand? 2. Have you drafted demand letters on your own? Roughly how many? 3. What case management systems have you used? (Clio experience is a plus.) 4. What are your available hours per week and your hourly rate? 5. Any workers' comp experience? If so, which state(s)?
