Part-Time React + Supabase Developer Needed for Production SaaS MVP

I am looking for a reliable part-time developer to help stabilize, improve, and safely scale an existing SaaS web app that is about to onboard a paying user. The app is already built and live. It is not a new build from scratch. The product is a project management platform for multi-unit installation projects. It helps teams track units, appliances/items, delivery/install status, photos, serial numbers, issues, notes, reports, and client/installer/PM workflows. Current stack: - React - TypeScript - Vite - Supabase - Postgres - Row Level Security - Supabase Storage - Edge Functions - Auth / magic links - claude-generated code I need someone who can work carefully inside an existing MVP without breaking production. This role is not just feature building. I need someone who can help with production safety, database/security issues, staging setup, code review, migrations, RLS policies, storage policies, bug fixes, and controlled feature work. Main responsibilities: - Review and improve Supabase security, RLS, storage policies, and database structure - Help set up and maintain a safe staging environment - Review Lovable-generated code before production pushes - Fix bugs without creating regressions - Help stabilize the app before onboarding paying users - Write safe Supabase migrations - Inspect edge functions and signed URL/photo workflows - Improve React/TypeScript code quality where needed - Help with production-readiness checklists - Provide clear summaries of what changed and what risk remains Important requirements: - Strong React + TypeScript experience - Strong Supabase experience - Strong Postgres/RLS knowledge - Experience with production SaaS apps - Comfortable working in an existing messy MVP codebase - Careful with database migrations and production data - Good written English - Good communication - Does not make large unrelated changes - Does not rewrite the app unless specifically approved - Can explain technical risks in simple language - Can work part-time and be available when needed Nice to have: - Experience with construction, field service, logistics, project management, or photo-heavy apps - Experience with PDF/report generation - Experience with Stripe billing - Experience with audit logs, user roles, and permission systems - Experience cleaning up low-code/AI-generated codebases First paid trial task: I want to start with a small paid audit/fix task. You will inspect one specific area of the app, identify risks, propose a safe plan, and only make one approved change.
