Part-Time Social Media Engagement Specialist

OVERVIEW We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Social Media Engagement Specialist to help grow our online presence and increase follower engagement across multiple social media platforms. This is a part-time remote role (approximately 10–15 hours per week) focused primarily on Facebook (Meta), with opportunities to expand to additional platforms such as X (Twitter), LinkedIn, Instagram, and others over time. Our goal is to strengthen engagement with highly targetable younger audiences, increase visibility, and build momentum across key channels. RESPONSIBILITIES →Monitor and engage with comments, messages, and audience interactions →Post and schedule light social content as needed →Respond to followers using approved messaging and brand guidelines →Identify opportunities to increase follower growth and engagement →Help maintain an active and responsive presence across social platforms →Support campaigns aimed at converting positive engagement into reviews and subscriptions →Track activity and provide regular updates on progress REQUIREMENTS →Proven experience in social media engagement, community management, or audience development →Strong written English communication skills →Ability to adapt tone and messaging for different audiences and platforms →Experience with Facebook (Meta) is required →Familiarity with X (Twitter), LinkedIn, Instagram, and similar platforms is a plus →Highly organized, reliable, and responsive in a remote work environment →Comfortable working independently and following detailed instructions →Experience working with political, nonprofit, advocacy, or media organizations is a plus HOURS AND COMPENSATION 10–15 hours per week Long-term opportunity for the right candidate IDEAL CANDIDATE You are someone who enjoys building online communities, engaging with followers, and helping organizations expand their digital presence.
