Summary

Part-Time TikTok & Social Content Assistant Remote | 15–20 hours/week | Paid 30-day trial The Job We’re building an AI app that helps women figure out what to do next when they’re dealing with problems around money, work, business, or life. The app is already live. Now we need more people to discover it, try it, and become paying users. We’re looking for someone who really understands TikTok, Reels, short-form content, and internet culture. You should know what makes someone stop scrolling. You should be able to look at a trend and know whether we should use it or ignore it. You should be able to take a basic idea and turn it into a strong hook, script, or video concept. And you should be comfortable figuring things out without waiting for someone to tell you every single step. This is not just a “post on social media” job. Your job is to help us make content that gets attention and turns that attention into people trying our product. ________________________________________ What You’ll Do Every Week You’ll work from a simple list of priorities from the founder. From there, you’ll help run the content machine. 1. Find good content ideas Spend time on TikTok, Instagram, YouTube, Reddit, comments, and other places our audience hangs out. Look for: • Topics people are talking about • Questions our audience keeps asking • Trends we could use • Hooks that are working • Video styles we should test • Good examples from other creators and brands We don’t want to copy people. We want you to understand what is working and why. 2. Turn ideas into videos Each week, you’ll help create short-form content for TikTok, Instagram Reels, and YouTube Shorts. That includes: • Video ideas • Hooks • Short scripts • Captions • Calls to action • Dialogue for our AI character • Examples for our video editor to follow You do not need to edit every video yourself. We already have someone who helps create and edit the videos. Your job is to make sure they know what we’re making and what it should look and feel like. 3. Keep the content moving Once a video idea is approved, you own getting it across the finish line. That means: Idea → Script → Editor → Final Video → Posted The founder should not have to ask: “Did this ever get posted?” 4. Find creators we can work with Each week, find smaller TikTok and Instagram creators whose audience fits our product. You’ll: • Find creators • Keep a list of good ones • Reach out by DM or email • Follow up • Help coordinate collaborations We’re looking for people with the right audience, not just people with huge follower counts. 5. Pay attention to what happens We don’t care about views just for the sake of views. We want to know: Did people click? Did they try the product? Did they sign up? Did they pay? Every week, you’ll give us a simple update: What did we post? What worked? What didn’t? What did we learn? What should we try next? No giant marketing reports. Just tell us what happened and what you think we should do about it. ________________________________________ Weekly Meetings You will also have a weekly check-in meeting over Zoom or Google Meet with the founder. This is a short working session to: • Review what was posted • Discuss what worked and what didn’t • Align on new content ideas • Make sure priorities are clear for the next week No formal presentations needed — just a working conversation. ________________________________________ What We Expect Each Week A normal week may include: • Researching new TikTok/Reels ideas and trends • Creating 10+ short-form content ideas/hooks • Turning the best ideas into 5–10 ready-to-produce scripts or content briefs • Sending clear instructions/examples to our editor • Making sure finished content gets posted • Finding 10–25 possible creators we could work with • Reaching out and following up with creators • Reading comments and finding new content ideas from our audience • Testing at least one new idea to help more people discover or try the product • Sending a short weekly report showing what happened and what we should do next The exact numbers may change as we learn what works. ________________________________________ You’re Probably a Great Fit If… You spend enough time on TikTok that you understand the language of the platform. You know when something feels like an ad. You know when a hook is boring. You understand why some videos make people stop scrolling and others don’t. You’re a strong, natural writer. You can write the way real people talk, not like a company brochure. You’re comfortable using ChatGPT and other AI tools. You’re curious. You test things instead of overthinking them. And when we say: “Find 20 creators who might be good for this product.” You don’t need us to explain how to search TikTok, build the list, find their contact information, and start reaching out. You figure it out. ________________________________________ This Is Probably NOT For You If… You need every task explained step-by-step. You mainly know traditional corporate marketing. You write captions that sound like ads. You don’t personally use TikTok or understand current internet culture. You only care about followers, likes, and views. Or you tend to wait for someone to tell you what to do next. We need someone who can take a goal and run with it. ________________________________________ How to Apply Start your application with: Sassy AI Then answer these questions. 1. Show us your work. Send 2–3 TikToks, Reels, or Shorts you personally helped create. Tell us exactly what you did. 2. Show us your taste. Send us one TikTok or Reel you think is really good. Tell us why you think it worked. Keep your answer simple. 3. Show us you can write a hook. Imagine our customer says: “I hate my six-figure job, but I can’t afford to take a huge pay cut. I feel stuck.” Give us 3 TikTok hooks you would test. 4. Which video wins? Video A: 100,000 views → 5 people sign up Video B: 8,000 views → 75 people sign up Which one interests you more? Why? 5. Find creators. Tell us how you would find 25 smaller creators who might be a good fit for an AI app made primarily for women figuring out money, work, business, and life decisions. 6. Tell us about AI. What AI tools do you currently use? What do you use them for? 7. Are you comfortable reaching out to creators? This includes sending DMs/emails and following up when people don’t answer. Yes or no — and tell us about any experience you have doing this. ________________________________________ What Happens Next We’ll choose a small number of applicants for an interview. The strongest candidates will receive a paid test assignment using the same kind of work you’ll actually do in this role. The person we hire will start with a paid 30-day trial. We’re not looking for the person with the fanciest marketing résumé. We’re looking for someone who gets social media, has good instincts, writes like a human, moves quickly, and gets things done.
