Job Title: Part-Time WordPress Content Manager (Breakdance, YOOtheme, Avada) Weekly Commitment: 10-15 Hours (with potential to scale during peak project cycles) Location: Americas (for real-time collaboration alignment) Talent Type: Independent Freelancer (No Agencies) About the Role We run a fast-paced web agency managing a diverse portfolio of client sites, spanning tourism, regional directories, and local municipal frameworks. We are seeking a highly organized, detail-oriented WordPress Content Manager to take ownership of front-end updates, directory listings, page building, and day-to-day content curation. This is a pure content and layout management role. We have a dedicated technical team handling plugin debugging, server configurations, PHP template edits, and system security. Your focus will be 100% on keeping our clients' front-end content fresh, highly functional, and visually polished. Typical Tasks Your typical tasks will mirror these recent assignments: Rapid Landing Page Deployment: Taking a raw Google Doc of emergency public safety details (like local fire updates and regional road closures) and transforming it into a beautifully styled, highly readable landing page. Media & Layout Integration: Sourcing image assets from shared drives, embedding interactive photo galleries, and linking critical resources in site footers. UI/UX Quality Control: Troubleshooting front-end display quirks, such as diagnosing why a header banner is overlapping or hiding a search option on larger desktop displays. Directory & Database Entry: Routinely updating custom business/lodging directories, configuring interactive map coordinates, managing category filtering, and adjusting business detail cards. WooCommerce Maintenance: Updating basic storefront elements, setting up promotional coupons, and altering front-end checkout field arrangements. Required Skills & Experience You must have immediate, intermediate-to-advanced fluency in the following layout environments: Breakdance Builder: Highly preferred. You should be fluent in building responsive sections, utilizing mega menu structures, and integrating WooCommerce layout blocks. YOOtheme Pro & Elementor Pro: Deep comfort in navigating global styling options and modifying multi-column layouts. Avada (Fusion Builder) & WPBakery: Ability to jump into older, established templates for quick text and asset updates. Advanced Custom Fields (ACF) Pro: Experience navigating backend custom fields to accurately populate front-end directory and listings templates. What Is NOT Required (We Have Devs for This) You will not be expected to: Write custom PHP functions or custom Javascript from scratch. Perform direct server-level configurations (NGINX/Apache/DNS/SPF records). Debug broken database tables or perform complex manual site migrations.
