YouTube Optimization Specialist: Titles, Thumbnails & Split Testing

Our YouTube channel "Treble Health" is seeking a YouTube Optimization Specialist to take full ownership of our organic YouTube channel. We have an established channel with a large existing library and audience, and we need one person who lives and breathes YouTube performance to optimize our videos and grow the channel. Your core focus is simple: drive incremental, high-quality views that lead to real business, not vanity metrics. This is an ongoing, part-time role. We are AI forward, we have an existing photo library and a catalog of our best-performing thumbnails to work from, and we use Slack for communication. We are not looking for an agency. We want one capable individual to own this function and grow with us. Hourly Rate: $40.00 - $50.00 / hour (based on experience) KEY RESPONSIBILITIES: Title & Thumbnail Optimization: Take our videos and optimize each one with the strongest possible title and thumbnail combination. Split Testing: Systematically split test titles and thumbnails until we land on the best-performing combination for every video. AI-Assisted Thumbnail Creation: Use AI together with our existing photo library and best-thumbnail catalog to produce new, high-converting thumbnails. We also have dedicated thumbnail designers when we need a professional to make them. Publishing & Operations: Own the YouTube publishing schedule and day-to-day channel operations end to end. Channel Growth: Take ownership of optimizing the channel with new content and improving overall channel performance over time. REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS: Proven, hands-on experience running YouTube operations and performance on organic channels. Demonstrable track record of improving click-through rate and watch performance through disciplined title and thumbnail split testing. Skilled at AI-assisted thumbnail creation and comfortable working from an existing asset library rather than starting from scratch. Understands the difference between vanity views and views that convert to business. Able to work asynchronously inside Slack and own a function independently.
