Part-Time AI Voice / Backend Developer Required Project Overview We are looking for a reliable part-time developer to take over maintenance and future development of an existing AI receptionist system for a real estate sales business. The system currently handles inbound phone enquiries, speaks with callers, captures details, matches enquiries to property projects, and sends lead notifications to the correct salesperson. The first priority is to maintain and stabilise the current V1 system, fix bugs, document the setup properly, and ensure the system is reliable. Once V1 is stable, we will move into V2 upgrades as a separate paid project. Current Tech Stack The existing system uses: OpenAI API Retell AI Twilio Supabase Render GitHub SMS / email notifications Google Sheets or lead allocation logic Webhooks and API integrations Real estate project matching workflow Expected Work Phase 1 — System Audit & Handover Review The first task is to review the current system and provide a clear written summary of: How the system currently works Key risks or weak points Required credentials and access Current bugs or likely failure points Deployment process Database / Supabase structure Twilio / Retell / Render setup Recommendations to stabilise V1 This phase will be paid separately as a fixed audit fee. Phase 2 — V1 Maintenance & Bug Fixes Once the system has been reviewed, the developer will help maintain the current system and fix bugs as required. Expected maintenance work may include: Fixing Twilio / Retell call flow issues Fixing SMS or email notification bugs Updating project matching logic Checking Supabase records and lead routing Debugging Render deployment issues Monitoring failed calls, failed SMS, or broken webhooks Minor wording, prompt, or workflow adjustments Keeping the system stable and properly documented Phase 3 — V2 Development After V1 is stable, we will move to V2 upgrades. V2 will be quoted separately on a fixed-price or milestone basis. Possible V2 features may include: Returning caller recognition Better call history Improved agent matching Improved project recommendation logic Smarter duplicate enquiry handling Better SMS / email workflow Admin dashboard Reporting and analytics CRM-style lead tracking Integration with other business tools Compensation Structure Paid Audit US$200 fixed fee Purpose: review system, identify risks, and provide written handover / technical report. Monthly Maintenance Retainer US$450/month The monthly retainer should include light maintenance and bug fixes, approximately 10-12 hours per month. Included in the retainer: Minor bug fixes System checks Small updates Prompt or logic adjustments Basic support Documentation updates Response to system issues within agreed timeframe The monthly retainer does not include major feature development, large rebuilds, or V2 upgrades. Extra Work / Larger Bug Fixes Any work outside the monthly maintenance scope will be quoted separately. This may be billed: Hourly, with prior approval; or Fixed-price per task V2 Upgrade Work V2 development will be handled as a separate project with clear milestones. Required Skills The ideal developer should have experience with: Backend development OpenAI API Twilio Retell AI or similar voice AI platforms Supabase Render GitHub Webhooks API integrations SMS / email automation Basic database design Debugging live production systems Experience with real estate, CRM systems, call automation, or lead routing is preferred but not essential. We are looking for someone who can become the ongoing technical support person for this system.
