Pattern maker/digitizer

I am looking for a freelancer who can convert reference images (PNG, JPG, or examples from Pinterest/Etsy) into professional, production-ready sewing patterns. ​I will provide the reference image, and your tasks will include: ​Analysis: Break down the design into individual material layers (e.g., body, ears, eyes, nose, ribbons, patterns). ​Vectorization: Redraw each part as a distinct piece. ​Maintain correct proportions and ensure all parts assemble accurately to match the reference. ​Simplify or optimize intricate details that are too small to cut or sew effectively. ​File Export: Provide files in SVG, AI, and DST formats. ​Note: All pieces must be separated and arranged on a single 2D plane, ready for direct laser cutting. ​Requirements: Experience in the following is highly preferred: ​Software: Adobe Illustrator or Inkscape. ​Technical Skills: SVG design for cutting machines, Felt pattern making, Cricut/Silhouette projects, Laser/CNC cutting, and Paper craft patterns. ​Production Mindset: Strong ability to optimize designs for practical manufacturing (sewability and cutability) is a significant advantage. ​Deliverables & Quality Standards: The project is considered complete when the files meet the following criteria: ​Compatibility: Files are fully editable in Adobe Illustrator or Inkscape. ​Format: Standardized SVG format provided. ​Vector Integrity: All cutting lines are closed vector paths (no open paths). ​Clean Files: No embedded raster images. ​Accuracy: Dimensions match specified requirements; pieces assemble correctly to match the reference. ​Material Suitability: Details are sized appropriately for laser cutting on 1–1.5 mm felt. ​Validation: Files have been tested/verified via cutting machine software or equivalent vector analysis tools.
