Performance Creative Designer (Paid Media & Growth Marketing) Remote | Part-Time / Full-Time | US Market Focus About Sandpiper Sandpiper is a tech startup focused on\ furnished rental marketplace helping property owners connect with professionals seeking flexible monthly accommodation across the United States. We market to two distinct audiences: • Landlords looking to increase occupancy and rental income. • Professionals looking for high-quality, fully furnished homes for stays of one to six months. We're looking for a Performance Creative Designer who understands how to create marketing assets that don't just look great, but drive measurable business results. About the Role This is not a traditional graphic design role. We are looking for someone who understands performance marketing and knows how to create creatives that improve click-through rates, reduce acquisition costs, and increase conversions. You should enjoy analysing what's working, testing new ideas, and continuously improving creative performance across paid campaigns. You'll work closely with our CMO, Performance & Growth Marketing Managers and Copywriter to create high-performing assets across both the landlord and renter sides of the business. Responsibilities Own the creative production for all paid marketing campaigns, including: • Meta advertising creatives • Google Display assets • Landing page graphics • Website assets • Email graphics • Social media creative • Marketing collateral • Motion graphics • Basic video editing (preferred but not essential) Optimise creative performance by: • Creating multiple creative variations for testing • Developing new creative concepts and hooks • Iterating on winning creatives • Supporting A/B testing initiatives • Building and maintaining a creative asset library • Ensuring brand consistency across all channels Work collaboratively with: • Fractional CMO • Performance Marketing Managers • Copywriter • Wider Growth Team What We're Looking For • 5+ years' experience designing for digital marketing • Strong portfolio demonstrating performance-focused creative work • Experience creating creatives for Meta and Google Ads • Strong understanding of conversion-focused design • Excellent visual hierarchy and typography skills • High attention to detail • Ability to work quickly without compromising quality • Comfortable taking feedback and iterating designs • Proactive, organised and self-managed • Strong team player with excellent communication skills Nice to Have • Experience designing for SaaS, B2B, marketplaces or real estate • Experience with motion graphics • Experience editing short-form videos • Experience creating UGC-style ad creatives • Experience working alongside performance marketing teams • Understanding of CRO and landing page best practices Software We're open to your preferred tools, but experience with some of the following is helpful: • Figma • Adobe Creative Suite • Photoshop • Stitch • Canva Who You Are You're naturally curious and always looking for ways to improve performance. You don't stop once a design is approved. You want to know whether it outperformed the previous version and how it can be improved further. You understand that great creativity sits at the intersection of design, psychology and marketing. You enjoy collaborating with marketers, copywriters and growth teams to create campaigns that deliver measurable business results.
