Performance Creative Strategist / Scriptwriter for Shopify Apps

We're a Shopify app looking for someone who understands how to create Meta ads that convert store owners — not just "content." We are looking for someone who understands: Meta (Facebook/Instagram) ads scroll-stopping creative & hook psychology direct response ad structures UGC and creator-style ads static, video, and carousel formats short-form persuasion selling SaaS / tools to e-commerce founders You should know how to structure ads that: stop the scroll build belief fast demonstrate the product create "I need this for my store" moments convert merchants into installs and paying customers What You'll Do: Develop Meta ad concepts, angles, and creative narratives that speak to Shopify merchants Write or oversee scripts and copy for video, UGC, demo, and static ads Analyze hook rate, hold rate, CTR, install, and conversion performance Improve hooks, pacing, and CTA placement Work with editors and creators to improve thumb-stop and engagement Help build scalable Meta acquisition and creative-testing systems We're NOT Looking For: Generic "content strategists" TikTok trend managers Social media coordinators Branding-only creatives People who only know organic posting Ideal Background: Meta direct response ads UGC and creator-led ad production Performance copywriting (Agora-style a plus) SaaS / app marketing funnels Product demo & feature-driven storytelling Creator-led performance marketing Paid social creative strategy Huge Plus If You've Worked With: Shopify apps or e-commerce tools SaaS / subscription products Info products DTC / e-commerce brands High-ticket offers Creator brands Lead-gen / free-trial funnels Initial Setup We are starting lean: small team fast iteration performance-focused testing This role can start freelance/contract with potential long-term expansion.
