Summary We grew a DTC pet brand from $0 to $1.4M in 90 days. We're looking for the operators who can help us do it again, at 10x. We're a fast-growing, high-performance DTC pet brand, selling primarily in the UK with US and worldwide expansion underway. We move fast, hold a high bar, and let research and data drive every decision. We're hiring a Performance Creative Strategist to own the UGC creative engine behind our paid growth: the strategy, allocation and briefing of creator content that we turn into high-converting ads. Competitive base + uncapped, KPI-based bonus (details below). The role: You'll own our UGC creative strategy end to end: deciding what creative we need, sourcing and briefing the creators to produce it, and turning the returned content into winning paid ads across Meta and beyond. You sit at the centre of our creator engine, working hand-in-hand with our Content/Creator Manager (who runs outreach, gifting and relationships) and our editors, so you focus on strategy and briefs while they handle sourcing and production. What you'll own: Work with the Content manager to delegate the sourcing of new creators when needed. UGC creative strategy. Decide the concepts, angles, and hooks we need based on data and research, then translate them into a briefing pipeline Creator briefs. Write clear, high-converting briefs that tell creators exactly what to film and why (this is the core craft of the role) Concept & angle development. Mine reviews, competitors, and customer language to find new avatars and angles for creators to bring to life Ad performance to creative learnings. Analyse UGC ad performance on Meta, dissect what's winning, and feed those learnings back into the next round of briefs Coaching the paid ambassadors through looms and meetings on what they did well, what they didn't do well etc. Iteration. Turn winning creator ads into more winners (new angles, hooks, formats) Collaboration. Brief and direct editors and designers so raw creator content becomes on-brand, high-converting ads Reporting. Monthly/quarterly creative performance reports and clear next steps to scale Requirements: Fully remote, fluent in English 2+ years building UGC/creator-led performance creative for DTC brands or at a creative agency (must-have) Deep experience writing UGC creator briefs that produce high-converting content. This is the heart of the job Strong grasp of direct-response principles and psychology-based creative Comfortable with performance analytics tools (Triple Whale, Motion, Notion, spreadsheets) to read creative data and present outcomes Creative and analytical: generates fresh angles, and makes decisions from ad performance Bonus: hands-on experience managing influencer/creator partnerships Accountabilities: Set the weekly UGC creative direction (concepts, angles, hooks) grounded in data Write the weekly slate of creator briefs (and supporting ad scripts where needed) Analyse UGC ad performance and turn it into actionable insights for the next round Work with the Content Manager to make sure the right content gets sourced against your briefs Collaborate with editors/designers to ship compelling, on-brand ads Continuously refine and troubleshoot to maximise ROI, and iterate winners into more winners How Our Hiring Works & How We Operate: When hiring, we’ll work with you to define the KPIs you’ll be responsible for and set targets. This removes ambiguity around wondering if you’re doing a good job after you start. Initial soft interview, then a technical interview + test project with the current head of marketing, and a final interview to ensure culture fit. We plan to hire within ~4 - 8 days of conducting these interviews. We pride ourselves on timely responses and updates for applicants.
