Performance Video Editor – Direct Response (Meta / TikTok / UGC / Youtube)

Description: We are a fast-growing direct-to-consumer brand scaling rapidly toward a $10M annual run rate. Our growth is driven by performance marketing and a high-volume creative engine across Meta, TikTok, and other paid channels. We are looking for a performance video editor who can take raw creator footage and transform it into structured, high-converting ad creatives. This role sits at the intersection of editing and performance marketing. The right candidate understands how creative decisions impact engagement, retention, and conversion—not just visual quality. Key Responsibilities: • Edit raw UGC and creator footage into short-form ad creatives (15–60 seconds) • In certain cases videos can be longer (~10 minutes) • Structure videos to maximize early engagement and viewer retention • Identify and implement strong opening sequences (hooks) • Reorganize and refine footage to improve clarity and pacing • Produce multiple variations from the same source material (hooks, sequences, CTAs) • Collaborate with our team to iterate on creatives based on performance feedback What We Provide: • Clear creative direction (angles, messaging, positioning) • Raw footage from creators • Examples of existing high-performing ads • Ongoing volume of work with consistent output expectations Requirements: • Proven experience editing direct response ads for Meta, TikTok, or similar platforms • Experience working with brands at scale or in high-volume creative environments • Strong understanding of short-form video structure and viewer behavior • Ability to independently make editing decisions that improve engagement and flow • Experience creating multiple variations from a single piece of footage • Proficiency in tools such as Premiere Pro, Final Cut, or CapCut Preferred: • Experience working with UGC-style content • Familiarity with performance metrics such as CTR, hook rate, and retention • Experience supporting paid social or growth marketing teams Application Requirements: Please include the following: 1. 2–3 examples of direct response ads you have edited 2.
