Performance Video Editor Needed for Long-Term DTC E-Commerce Brands

Summary

We’re looking for a skilled video editor to join us long term and create high-converting video ads for our growing portfolio of direct-to-consumer brands. Our products currently include health and skincare items, with more products being added over time. This role is focused specifically on performance marketing and direct-response creatives for Meta platforms (Facebook and Instagram). We are not looking for traditional video editors or cinematic storytellers. The goal is to create engaging ad creatives that drive conversions. We provide everything you need to execute each project, including finalized scripts, translated text, voice-overs, product footage, creative direction, and examples of winning ads. Your responsibility is to bring these assets together into compelling videos that feel natural, engaging, and optimized for performance. You’ll be responsible for sourcing additional footage when needed, including stock videos, UGC-style clips, lifestyle visuals, and supporting scenes that strengthen the message. You should have a strong sense of pacing and know how to align visuals with narration while maintaining viewer attention. You’ll also create captions and subtitles and deliver finished videos ready for Meta Ads. Most videos are between 30 and 70 seconds long and are produced exclusively in vertical 9:16 format. One creative concept is typically adapted into multiple language versions, where only the voice-over and subtitles change. The overall video structure usually remains the same. You do not need to speak the target languages, which currently include Hungarian, Slovak, Czech, Polish, and Romanian. However, you should be comfortable working with multilingual content and using AI tools when necessary. We expect attention to subtitle timing, caption readability, natural line breaks, visual rhythm, and matching scenes to the emotion and pace of the narration. Experience with CapCut or Adobe Premiere Pro is required. Previous experience editing Meta or Facebook ad creatives is highly preferred. You should also be comfortable sourcing footage independently, have strong visual instincts, and be able to deliver work quickly without sacrificing quality. E-commerce and performance marketing experience are major advantages. This position is intended as an ongoing partnership rather than a one-time project. A paid trial task will be required before moving forward with long-term cooperation. Please note that this role is specifically focused on direct-response e-commerce advertising. Editors whose primary experience is in wedding films, documentaries, cinematic projects, or long-form YouTube content may not be the right fit.
