Performance apparel designer (Running vest)- Early stage brand | Research + Design + Techpack

1. Research & Exploration (Critical) - Study performance running apparel (Indian and global brands) - Explore fabric possibilities (breathability, moisture-wicking, lightweight performance) - Identify opportunities for differentiation (construction, ventilation, fit, detailing) - Present structured insights (not just moodboards — clear thinking) 2. Design Development - 2-3 design directions aligned to research - Focus on construction, paneling, ventilation, and performance - Clean, performance-first aesthetic (minimal, sharp, non-generic) 3. Fabric & Material Guidance - Recommend suitable fabric types and blends - Work with vendor inputs (we will connect with manufacturers) 4. Tech Pack Creation - Detailed tech packs for men & women - Construction details, stitching, trims, logo placement, measurements 5. Sampling Support - Coordinate with factory for prototype - Review sample and provide structured feedback for iteration Working Style (Important): We prefer a collaborative and conversational approach: - Regular calls (not only email-based communication) - Open discussion and iteration - Ability to challenge ideas and think with us If you prefer strictly defined, low-interaction projects, this may not be the right fit. --- What We Are Looking For: - Experience in performance / activewear design - Strong understanding of fabrics and garment construction - Ability to think beyond aesthetics (function + performance) - Comfortable working with early-stage brands - Good communication and openness to collaboration Timeline: Start immediately.
