Personal Assistant / Content Writer

About us We're a 7-person (and growing) startup building an AI product for the insurance industry. I'm the founder, and I'm getting busy enough that I need a right-hand person to own communication — outbound and inbound — so I can focus on running the company. This starts as an assistant role, but I'm looking for someone who can grow into a team manager as we scale. If you want a job where your responsibility (and pay) grows with the company, this is it. What you'll do • Run cold outreach on LinkedIn and hunt for leads using LinkedIn Sales Navigator • Draft outbound content: cold emails, LinkedIn messages, follow-up sequences • Respond to inbound email from clients and prospects in a professional, on-brand voice • Use AI tools (ChatGPT/Claude/etc.) effectively to draft faster — but with your own judgment and editing on top • Come up with creative solutions as new needs pop up (they will, constantly) What I'm looking for • Excellent written English — this is non-negotiable, you'll be the voice of the company to clients • Comfortable with AI tools and prompt-based workflows • Proactive: you spot what needs doing and do it, rather than waiting for instructions • Reliable with client-facing communication — attention to tone, detail, and follow-through • Interest in growing into a bigger role (content lead, outreach manager, team manager) Nice to have: experience with LinkedIn Sales Navigator, cold outreach, or insurance/fintech. Pay & growth Starting at $10/hr with regularly scheduled performance reviews and raises. Up to $20/hr for the right person as you take on more responsibility.
