Personal Injury Intake Specialist (Remote, South Africa Only)

About the Role We’re a US personal injury law firm, and you’d be the first voice our potential clients hear. We're looking of a legal Intake Specialist located in South Africa who will handle inbouand calls and leads from people who have recently been injury. Your job is to gather the details of the accident and qualify leads according to our firm's criteria. This is a client-facing role where your communication skills directly shape a potential client’s first impression of our firm. Responsibilities - Answer inbound calls and respond to web leads promptly and professionally - Conduct intake interviews with prospective clients, gathering accident details, injury information, insurance details, and medical treatment history - Qualify leads based on the firm’s criteria - Accurately document all intake information in our lead intake management system. - Send and follow up on retainer agreements and intake paperwork - Follow up persistently with unsigned leads via phone, text, and email - Escalate qualified cases to attorneys for review - Maintain a compassionate, professional tone with callers who may be in distress Requirements - Proven experience doing intake for a personal injury law firm (please describe this experience in your proposal) - Fluent, polished spoken and written English with clear, easily understood pronunciation, as this is a phone-heavy role serving US-based clients - Strong empathy and active listening skills, with the ability to build rapport quickly - Familiarity with personal injury case types (auto accidents, wrongful death, etc.) and standard qualifying questions - Experience with Filevine a plus but not required. - Based in South Africa (applicants from other locations will not be considered) - A quality headset, and a quiet, professional work environment - Availability during US business hours (California time); note this means afternoon and evening hours South Africa time) What We Offer Steady, long-term work with a firm that’s growing.
