PhD Chemist | Graduate-Level Reasoning & Scientific Prompt Writer

We are looking for a PhD-level Chemist to create original, graduate/PhD-level chemistry reasoning problems for AI evaluation. This is not a tutoring or question-answering role. The work focuses on designing challenging, self-contained prompts that require deep scientific reasoning and have one exact, verifiable answer. Responsibilities Create original chemistry prompts in one or more of the following areas: Organic Chemistry Inorganic Chemistry Physical Chemistry Biochemistry Design problems that require multi-step reasoning rather than routine calculations or fact recall. Ensure every prompt is self-contained, unambiguous, and includes all required constants, assumptions, and instructions. Provide one exact final answer in the required format. Review AI-generated responses and identify reasoning errors, factual inaccuracies, and instruction-following issues. Requirements PhD (preferred) or Master's with significant research experience in Chemistry. Strong background in one or more chemistry subdisciplines listed above. Experience with scientific writing, research publications, or graduate-level teaching. Ability to write original content without copying or adapting textbook or online problems. Excellent attention to detail and logical reasoning. Preferred Qualifications University lecturer, professor, postdoctoral researcher, or senior R&D scientist. Experience writing examination questions or technical assessments. Familiarity with spectroscopy, thermodynamics, kinetics, reaction mechanisms, quantum chemistry, or computational chemistry.
