I run a home care company in Arizona (US) providing non-medical in-home care for seniors. I'm hiring a reliable, detail-oriented Phone Operations & Scheduling Specialist to manage our phone communications and keep our caregiver schedule fully covered. This is a full-time, long-term role on U.S. Arizona hours, and I'd like to start as soon as tomorrow for the right person. The single most important part of this job is handling caregiver call-outs and quickly filling open shifts so no client is ever left without coverage. If you stay calm under pressure, communicate well on the phone, and can solve scheduling gaps fast, this role is for you. Responsibilities Handle inbound and outbound calls professionally with caregivers, clients, and family members Manage caregiver call-outs in real time and secure replacement coverage quickly Build, update, and maintain the weekly caregiver schedule in WellSky / ClearCare Confirm shifts, send reminders, and follow up on no-shows Coordinate between caregivers and clients to resolve scheduling conflicts Accurately document calls, schedule changes, and coverage Escalate urgent issues to management Keep all client and caregiver information strictly confidential Required skills & qualifications Excellent spoken and written English with a clear, neutral phone accent Experience in scheduling, dispatching, staffing coordination, or call-center work (home care / healthcare staffing strongly preferred) Hands-on experience with WellSky (formerly ClearCare) is a strong plus Strong problem-solving — able to fill open shifts fast under time pressure Highly reliable, organized, and process-driven Comfortable with scheduling software and VoIP/phone systems Able to consistently work the Arizona hours below Compensation: $5–8/hour USD depending on experience, full-time, long-term. Schedule (Arizona time → Philippine Time) (Arizona doesn't observe daylight saving, so this stays fixed year-round) Mon: 6:00–8:00 AM & 4:30–8:00 PM AZ → 9:00–11:00 PM (Mon) & 7:30–11:00 AM (Tue) PHT Tue: 6:00–8:00 AM & 4:30–8:00 PM AZ → 9:00–11:00 PM (Tue) & 7:30–11:00 AM (Wed) PHT Wed: 6:00–8:00 AM & 5:30–8:00 PM AZ → 9:00–11:00 PM (Wed) & 8:30–11:00 AM (Thu) PHT Thu: 6:00–8:00 AM & 5:30–8:00 PM AZ → 9:00–11:00 PM (Thu) & 8:30–11:00 AM (Fri) PHT Fri: 6:00–8:00 AM & 5:30–8:00 PM AZ → 9:00–11:00 PM (Fri) & 8:30–11:00 AM (Sat) PHT Sat: 6:00–9:30 AM & 5:30–8:00 PM AZ → 9:00 PM–12:30 AM (Sat→Sun) & 8:30–11:00 AM (Sun) PHT Sun: 6:00 AM–8:00 PM AZ → 9:00 PM (Sun)–11:00 AM (Mon) PHT Total ≈ 44.5 hours/week.
