🚨 URGENT: Event Photographer Needed TONIGHT (2 Hours) – $800 Fixed Budget – Student Scholarship Awards at CHEC Job Description: We are a nonprofit organization looking for a professional, reliable event photographer for a 2-hour gig tonight in Washington, D.C. This is a celebratory, inspiring event: a student scholarship awards ceremony honoring high school seniors as they receive their college scholarships. We need a skilled photographer who can expertly capture structured, fast-moving stage moments as well as warm, candid interactions. Event Details: Location: Columbia Heights Education Campus (CHEC), Washington, D.C. Duration: 2 Hours (Exact timing provided immediately upon hire) Date: TONIGHT. June 25, 2026 Budget: $800 Fixed Price (All-inclusive of the 2-hour shoot and post-event editing) Key Deliverables & Responsibilities: Award Presentations: Crisp, beautifully timed shots of students receiving their scholarships on stage (must be able to handle indoor venue lighting). Candid Moments: Capturing families, friends, and staff mingling, eating dinner, and celebrating. Turnaround: Delivery of high-resolution, professionally edited digital images via a shareable gallery (Pixieset, Google Drive, Dropbox, etc.) within 5 days. Requirements: Must be based in the DMV area and able to reliably get to CHEC tonight. Must bring professional-grade gear (DSLR/Mirrorless camera, low-light lenses, and an external flash/speedlight). A portfolio demonstrating strong event photography and indoor lighting management. A warm, friendly demeanor—comfortable working with students and proud families.
