Photoshop Assistant for Motion Comic Asset Splitting & De-layering (Graphic Novel Project)

Hi! We are a professional visual production studio currently producing a high-end motion comic adaptation of a 45-page graphic novel. We are looking for a skilled Photoshop Assistant/Digital Artist to handle asset prep and de-layering. You will receive flattened, fully rendered CMYK/RGB comic pages, and your job will be to isolate characters and key elements into separate layers to make them ready for our animation team (Rig-Ready / Animation-Ready). Key Responsibilities: Isolate characters, limbs, objects, and text into neatly organized layers. Use content-aware fill, clone stamp, and digital painting to cleanly reconstruct/paint the missing background behind the removed assets (In-painting). Maintain high resolution and perfectly clean edges (no messy halos or rough selections). Deliver organized PSD files named according to our studio pipeline. Required Skills: Expert-level Adobe Photoshop. Strong digital painting/reconstruction skills (essential for patching backgrounds). Experience with asset splitting for 2D animation, spine rigging, or motion comics is a huge plus. High attention to detail and strict adherence to deadlines.
