Photoshop Compositor — Composite & Color-Match Lifestyle Product Images (Furniture / E-Commerce)
Worldwide
We produce lifestyle imagery for furniture e-commerce. Our process generates room scenes with the hero product placed in them, but the final images need a skilled compositor to bring them to e-commerce quality. We're looking for someone (or a small team) to take our generated scenes and lay accessories back in, match lighting, and ensure the hero product stays 100% accurate across an entire series of shots. Because these go straight onto product pages, accuracy is non-negotiable — the sofa a customer sees must be the exact sofa they receive, down to color, scale, and texture. WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING - Compositing accessories (pillows, wall art, decor, plants, etc.) into generated room scenes to make spaces feel lived-in and styled - Matching lighting, shadows, and color temperature so composited elements blend seamlessly into each scene - Maintaining product accuracy across a series, specifically: - The hero product (e.g. sofa/sectional) appears the same size and proportions in every shot - Wall art and decor are the correct color and accurate scale shot-to-shot - Pillow and upholstery textures hold up and stay consistent - Materials, finishes, and colors stay true to the actual product - QC'ing each series for consistency before delivery (we provide a size/scale reference for each product) WHAT WE'LL PROVIDE - Generated room scenes (product already placed) - Product-over-white reference shots - Empty room reference images - A size/scale reference for each product - Accessory assets to composite in YOU'RE A GREAT FIT IF YOU - Are expert-level in Photoshop (compositing, masking, color matching, lighting) - Have a portfolio showing product or interior/furniture retouching — ideally e-commerce work - Sweat the details and can hold consistency across 10–20+ images in a set - Can sustain a steady output — our target is ~8 finished shots per day (~40/week), ongoing - Communicate clearly and can self-QC against a reference - (Bonus) Have experience with AI-generated imagery and cleaning it up to commercial standard VOLUME & PROCESS - Target throughput is ~8 completed shots per day, consistent and ongoing - Work comes in series — all shots in a series must stay consistent with each other - Shortlisted applicants (based on portfolio) will receive sample assets for a paid test series before we commit to ongoing work TO APPLY, PLEASE INCLUDE 1. Portfolio samples of compositing / product retouching (furniture or interiors strongly preferred) 2. A short note on how you'd keep a product looking identical across a series of shots 3. Your rate (hourly or per-image) and confirmation you can hit ~8 shots/day This is ongoing work with consistent volume for the right person.
