Picture-Frame Image Processing (product photos → standardized web asset set)
Worldwide
About us Meisterdrucke is a manufactory for high-quality fine-art reproductions (meisterdrucke.com). We continuously photograph new picture-frame series and need a consistent set of web assets generated from those photos for each frame. The task (summary) From several raw photos per frame (different angles of a corner sample, shot on a plain light background), produce a uniform asset set: clean product views (with shadow), one transparent corner preview, and two seamless, tileable texture strips. There are typically about 7 raw photos per frame. We will provide a reference set of a finished frame as the binding template for framing, dimensions and look, plus a CSV containing the per-frame measurements Deliverables per frame (exact specification) File naming follows the article number, example 252_173: 1) Product views — ID_a … ID_f (6 images) • Six standard views of the frame corner (see list below). • Format: transparent PNG without any shadows AND a JPG with subtle, standardized artificial drop shadow (same shadow direction, softness and opacity across every image and every series). • Canvas: 3000 × 2000 px. Subject centered and framed to match the reference set's scale/position per view. • Colors consistent across all views. • a – corner in 3D angled view (face + depth visible) • b – cross-section / profile end • c – flat top-down view of the L corner • d – corner in 3D angled view (different angle) • e – L corner, slight perspective, profile visible along its length • f – V / mitre view, frontal (full width) 2) Corner preview — ID_preview.png • 900 × 600 px, transparent PNG. • Clean mitre corner, top-left. Outer corner at pixel (50, 50). Profile band straight; the two legs run off the right and bottom edges of the canvas. • No drop shadow, clean edges, no dark/grey residual line on the inner edge. • Perspective-corrected so the band edges are perfectly straight (no "wave"). • „Thickness“ is provided in a csv with a specific ratio (1cm = 55px, approx!) 3) Texture strips — ID_texture_top.jpg and ID_texture_side.jpg Seamless, horizontally surface strips (no visible seam, no mirrored/symmetrical repetition, artificial patterns or uneven flares or shadows). Perspective-corrected, even color. • texture_top = the visible front face of the moulding. • texture_side = the outer side/edge face of the moulding. Dimensions: • Width: always 300 cm at 72 dpi = 8504 px (fixed for every frame). • Height: = frame dimension in cm, rounded UP to whole cm (approx!) but at least 50px, converted at 72 dpi. o Width: 300 cm × 28.346 = 8504 px. o Height examples: 3 cm → 90 px · 4 cm → 120 px · 5 cm → 150 px. • The relevant per-frame heights (for top and side) are provided in the CSV we supply. Use the CSV value, rounded up to the next whole cm. Quality requirements • Cutouts clean, no background or shadow residue, no ragged edges; fine edges (wood grain, black lacquer edge) preserved. • Preview and textures perspective-corrected (straight, parallel profile edges — no "wave"). • Texture strips seamless and without any visible mirroring/symmetry/unnatural patterns; the wood grain must not look obviously repeated. • The artificial shadow on the product views must be identical across all images (one defined shadow style). • Colors consistent across the whole series. • Dust and grain must be removed • Sticker of manufacturer (if present) should be removed Reference material we provide • Raw photos per frame. • Some finished example sets. • A CSV with per-frame measurements (frame heights for the texture strips). Scope & process • First engagement: one or two test frames (one frame, → the full set above). After approval, follow-up order for further series. • Currently we have 600+ Frames, approx 300 will come afterwards in the next weeks/months. • Tools: Photoshop (or equivalent). • Deadline: about 4-8 Weeks How to apply Please see attached File with 4 finished Frame and two unfinished frames. The finished samples are a rough example, also the raw photos will get better and will come already color corrected. Please reply with: • Samples of similar work (or also watermarked set of the unfinished frames) • quote for a Sample of 2 Frames • quote for price-per-frame for about 600 frames and 300 frames as follow-up order If you have questions before bidding, please let us know. Automated biddings are ignored.
