Pixel Sprite Artist for Sierra-Inspired RPG

We are seeking an experienced pixel sprite artist to create 3 test characters for a traditional adventure RPG inspired by 1990s Sierra games, especially Quest for Glory. This is a paid test project with potential for significant follow-on work. The style should reflect authentic Sierra VGA-era pixel art: strong silhouettes, limited palettes, deliberate pixel placement, and clear light/shadow. Characters should feel grounded in a slightly dark European fantasy or folklore setting. Initial deliverables include 3 original character sprites: one standing/idle pose each, one with a walk cycle, all on transparent backgrounds. We will provide character descriptions, scale references, existing game artwork, and clear visual direction. Please send 2–5 examples of original pixel character sprites, ideally influenced by Sierra, Quest for Glory, King’s Quest, or Gabriel Knight. Confirm your software, availability, and that the artwork is created manually.
