Platform Support Engineer Role

An experienced Senior Blue Yonder TMOD / TMS Platform Consultant to support a large-scale global transportation transformation initiative. The consultant will play a critical role in implementation, optimization, support, troubleshooting, integrations, and long-term platform stabilization across global transportation operations. This role requires a strong combination of functional transportation knowledge, Blue Yonder platform expertise, technical troubleshooting capability, and stakeholder management skills. The ideal candidate should be capable of independently handling complex transportation and optimization challenges within a fast-paced, ownership-driven environment. Key Responsibilities Blue Yonder TMOD & Optimization Configure and support Blue Yonder TMOD environments Work on: Strategy files Parameter files Tariff configuration Optimization logic Constraints handling Troubleshoot optimization issues and routing failures Analyze unroutable shipments and optimization behavior Translate business requirements into optimization solutions Support rollout and stabilization activities Core TMS Support Support transportation execution workflows Assist with: Carrier management Shipment lifecycle Financial workflows Transportation planning Participate in configuration, enhancement, and production support activities Integrations & Technical Support Support integrations with ERP, WMS, carrier systems, and third-party logistics platforms Troubleshoot integration and mapping issues Validate field mappings and reporting outputs Support interface and data troubleshooting activities Database & Reporting Run SQL queries for troubleshooting and validation Support reporting and data validation activities Perform root cause analysis for operational and platform issues Work with Blue Yonder database structures and data dictionaries Business Collaboration Work closely with business users, operations teams, architects, and global stakeholders Gather and translate business requirements into scalable solutions Support UAT coordination, testing, and user training Drive standardization across regions and teams Required Skills & Experience Mandatory Skills Strong hands-on experience with: Blue Yonder TMOD Blue Yonder TMS (Optimization & Execution) Strong understanding of: Transportation operations Logistics and supply chain processes Route optimization Carrier management Strong troubleshooting and debugging skills Strong SQL and data analysis knowledge Experience with integrations and interface troubleshooting Experience supporting production environments and UAT activities Excellent stakeholder communication and collaboration skills Preferred Skills Experience with global rollout programs Experience working with: Project44 4Kites One Network Knowledge of: DAS Blue Yonder data dictionary Transportation reporting structures Experience working in fast-paced, evolving enterprise environments Required Experience 5+ years of hands-on Blue Yonder TMOD / TMS experience Experience in: Implementation projects Post go-live support Optimization support Global transportation programs Strong exposure to both functional and technical areas Ideal Candidate Self-driven and ownership-oriented Comfortable working independently with minimal supervision Strong problem-solving and analytical mindset Comfortable handling ambiguity and evolving requirements Strong communication and stakeholder management skills Ability to collaborate effectively with global teams
