Podcast Editor Needed for Ongoing Podcast Episodes

As we launch our podcast, we're looking for a skilled podcast editor to join us as an ongoing collaborator for each new episode. What we need: - Pull raw audio/video files directly from our recording platform (Riverside) and handle the files on your end - Edit raw recordings (interview format, typically 2 speakers) into a polished final episode - Clean up audio: remove filler words (only if completely necessary), long pauses, background noise, and other distractions - Level and balance audio for consistent volume across speakers - Add intro/outro music and any branded sound elements (we'll provide these) - Basic video editing if we use video clips for social/YouTube (jump cuts, simple captions/lower thirds) - Deliver both a full-length audio version (for Spotify/Apple - Podcasts) and a video version (for YouTube), plus 1 short social clip per episode - Turn around each episode within an agreed timeframe (typically 5-7 business days after the raw recording is available) Ideal candidate: -Proven experience editing interview-style or business/professional podcasts - Strong ear for pacing, clarity, and keeping conversations engaging - Reliable communicator who can hit deadlines consistently Bonus: experience creating short-form social clips from long-form content To apply, please include: - Links to 2-3 podcast episodes you've edited - Your typical turnaround time - Your flat rate per episode (please quote a per-episode flat fee, not hourly) This is intended to be an ongoing relationship as we launch and grow the podcast, with the potential for more episodes and content as the show scales.
