Podcast Editor for The Developing Life Podcast
Worldwide
We're looking for an editor who listens to one of our conversations and thinks: there's something real here — and I want to help it reach more people. The Developing Life Podcast exists for creatives navigating massive shifts in technology, identity, and purpose — people who are tired, uncertain, and questioning their place in an industry that's changing under their feet. We give them honest conversations, grounded perspective, and space to think. No hype. No gurus. No empty motivation. Just meaningful work with people who care about it. We've built something worth building on: almost 50 long-form episodes, a growing library of interviews with world-class creatives and thinkers (designers, founders, technologists, artists), an engaged community, and a network that keeps opening doors. What we need now is an editor who can help us turn that wealth of content into something that grows — in reach, in revenue, and in community. We're at an inflection point. The conversations are strong. The guests are extraordinary. The audience is loyal. Our next chapter is about monetization and community building — and the editor's chair is where a lot of that begins. Great editing is what lets us: · Publish consistently without burning out · Turn 60-minute conversations into episodes people finish and share · Sustain the momentum we need to bring on sponsors, launch premium/subscriber content, and deepen our community What you'll do · Edit full episodes for both audio and video (YouTube) · Shape the listen: tighten tangents, protect the good silences, cut the dead weight, and keep the human moments that make our show ours · Master audio to a consistent, professional standard (levels, noise, clarity, music/beds where appropriate) · Assemble intros, outros, transitions, and ad/sponsor slots so the show is ready for the monetization work ahead · Flag the gold What you're not responsible for · Social · design · scheduling, and follow-up All of this is already handled. This is a pure editing role Who you are · You have a strong portfolio · You're reliable · You don't need micromanagement · You want to work long-term on a mission that could become something amazing How to apply Send us: A short note on why this show/project sounds exciting to you 2–3 samples of podcast episodes you've edited (links are perfect) Your rate, availability, packages and expected deliverables per episode
