Podcast Editor Wanted for Growing Weekly Interview Podcast (Long-Term) Hey Amarillo is an established weekly interview podcast featuring conversations with the people shaping Amarillo, Texas. Each episode tells the story of a local entrepreneur, nonprofit leader, artist, educator, or community member making an impact. We're looking for a reliable podcast editor who can become a long-term part of our production process. This is not a one-time project. We publish one episode each week and are looking for someone who values consistency, communication, and quality. What You'll Do Edit one interview episode per week (typically 45–60 minutes) Remove mistakes, long pauses, distracting filler, and background noise while preserving the natural flow of the conversation Balance and master audio to professional podcast standards Insert intro, outro, sponsor messages, and music Deliver both WAV and MP3 files Meet a consistent weekly turnaround (generally 48–72 hours) Bonus Skills (Not Required) Create short clips for Instagram, Facebook, or YouTube Shorts Experience editing Riverside, Zoom, or multi-track recordings Basic video editing Ability to suggest improvements to pacing or storytelling We're Looking For Someone Who Is Dependable and responsive Detail-oriented Experienced editing interview-based podcasts Comfortable taking ownership of the editing process Interested in building a long-term working relationship To Apply Please include: Links to 2–3 podcasts you've edited.
