Podcast Editor with Audio Skills

We produce several podcasts and need a skilled, reliable editor for ongoing work across the slate. The core of the role is strong audio editing — turning raw recordings into polished, publish-ready episodes. Just as important, you'll cut short video clips from episodes for social and promotional use. This is a steady, multi-show relationship, not a one-off. You'll be editing across multiple podcasts, each with its own format and feel: * A news show * A science and technology show * A business and marketing show What you'll do * Edit raw audio into finished episodes: cleanup, leveling, noise reduction, tightening, music and segment assembly. * Produce short promo video clips (audiograms and video) from episodes for social and marketing with an eye to what makes good content. * Keep each show consistent with its own sound and structure. * Handle ad insertion: prepare episodes for dynamic ad insertion (DAI) and work with our hosting and ad-network setup. * Maintain a steady, predictable turnaround on a recurring publishing schedule. You should be strong in: * Professional audio editing and post-production (your primary skill — leveling, noise reduction, pacing, mixing). * Creating short-form video clips from audio/video source for promotion. * A clean, organized workflow and dependable turnaround. Nice to have (our current stack): Recording in Riverside Collaboration/review in Frame.io Hosting in Captivate Dynamic Ad Insertion and integrating with ad networks Familiarity with these is a real plus, but if you're a strong editor who's worked in comparable tools, please still apply.
