Podcast Host & Video Interviewer – Native American English Speaker (US-Based Only)

Position Overview We are seeking a charismatic, professional, and articulate Podcast Host to anchor interviews for our company podcast, interviewing authors about their new books and publishing experiences. In this role, you will be the face and voice of our brand, conducting engaging audio and video interviews with our authors. As a fully remote contractor, you must possess a high-quality home studio setup, excellent interviewing skills, and the technical ability to deliver fully edited, production-ready episodes for distribution. Key Responsibilities Host & Interview: Conduct engaging, well-researched video and audio interviews with scheduled guests. End-to-End Production: Record, edit, and master each episode, delivering a polished, final product ready for publication. Brand Representation: Maintain a professional on-camera presence that aligns with our company’s values and tone. Required Qualifications & Equipment Language: Native or completely fluent American English speaker with exceptional conversational and interviewing skills. Professional Audio Setup: Must own and use a high-quality dedicated microphone in a sound-treated environment (no echoes or background noise). Professional Video Setup: Must own and use a high-quality camera with proper three-point lighting. Studio Background: A clean, professional, aesthetic, and distraction-free background for video recordings. Editing Expertise: Proficiency in audio/video editing software (e.g., Adobe Premiere, Descript, Audition) to seamlessly cut filler words, balance audio levels, and add intro/outro clips. Use AI tools to clean up and improve the audio quality of the interviewer's recording. Deliverables Deliverables: A fully edited, high-quality video file (MP4) and audio file (MP3) ready for distribution per episode, adhering to our branding guidelines.
