Podcast Production Assistant / Associate Producer (Part-Time) Remote | Long-Term Opportunity I'm an Associate Marriage and Family Therapist joining an established true crime podcast as a co-host. My role is to bring a psychological perspective to criminal cases by exploring relationships, trauma, family dynamics, warning signs, and prevention—not just retelling the crime. As we grow the show, we're looking for someone who can help support production, social media, and creative development. Initially, this is a part-time freelance position, but we're hoping to find someone who wants to grow into a larger producing role over time. What You'll Do Edit video and audio podcast episodes Create engaging YouTube Shorts, TikTok, Instagram Reels, and Facebook clips Schedule and publish content across social media platforms Organize production assets and episode files Assist with show notes, titles, and descriptions Help identify the strongest moments for clips and promotion As the Role Grows For the right person, we'd love to expand the role into: Researching upcoming cases Helping develop episode outlines and interview questions Guest outreach and scheduling Brainstorming compelling episode titles and thumbnails Developing YouTube growth strategies Providing honest creative feedback and helping shape the direction of the show We Want Someone who: Loves podcasts and storytelling Is a go-getter, passionate, and wants to be part of something from the ground up and grow with us Is interested in psychology, human behavior, or true crime Understands YouTube and short-form content Is organized, dependable, and proactive Enjoys collaborating and contributing ideas—not just completing assigned tasks You don't need to be an expert in psychology. Curiosity, creativity, and a willingness to learn are more important than having the perfect résumé.
