Podcast Video Editing

I’m looking for a skilled, reliable video editor to handle ongoing podcast-style video content for my hybrid athlete training brand RunLiftPerform (@runliftperformdotcom). This is a long-term collaboration where you’ll edit raw podcast footage (interviews, training discussions, military/SOF insights, strength & conditioning topics, etc.) into polished, engaging videos optimized for YouTube and Instagram Reels/YouTube Shorts. What You’ll Do: • Edit raw podcast videos into high-quality, viewer-ready content (full episodes + short clips). • Add professional branding: RunLiftPerform logos, intro/outro animations, lower thirds, text overlays, and consistent visual style. • Incorporate American humor, timing cuts for comedic moments, smooth transitions, and engaging pacing. • Understand context around strength & conditioning programming, hybrid training, military/SOF culture, and tactical fitness so edits feel natural and on-brand (no awkward cuts or missing key points). • Deliver files in the correct formats/resolutions for YouTube and Instagram. Requirements: • Strong experience with video editing (Premiere Pro, DaVinci Resolve, Final Cut, or similar). • Portfolio showing podcast/video editing work, especially with talking-head or interview-style content. • Good understanding of American humor and timing. • Familiarity with fitness, strength & conditioning, and military/Special Forces topics is a big plus — you’ll know when to keep a training explanation intact or enhance it visually. • Fast turnaround and clear communication. • Ability to follow brand guidelines and style templates. Compensation (Fixed Price per Video): • $200 per 20 minutes of final edited video. • $50 flat for short videos with less than 5 minutes of raw footage. • This is an ongoing project with regular uploads (multiple videos per month).
