Podcast Video Editor for Multicam Interviews

Summary

I'm producing Local Leaders Podcast — conversations with leaders across business, sports, faith, restaurants, trades, and local organizations about how their organizations operate, how they make decisions, and how they got into leadership. Audience is early-career and aspiring leaders curious how things actually work. Tone is practical, honest, conversational, and down-to-earth — think Diary of a CEO or Theo Von-level relatability, never corporate or "guru" style. No clickbait, no cringe thumbnails, no fake hype. Current episode: Interview with a cattle farmer who's run his own frozen beef operation for 30 years. Filmed multicam — 1 wide shot + 1 shot per person (6 video files total, recording was paused once), plus 4 sequential WAV audio files from a standalone recorder that need combining/syncing first. Raw conversation is 90 min; final cut should land around 60 min. I can share an unlisted YouTube link of a past episode so you can see our raw footage and target tone. Must-have deliverable: Full edit for YouTube (~45-60 min): sync multicam + audio, clean cuts, remove dead air, tight pacing, quick camera switching + occasional wide shots, clean audio, burned-in or SRT captions Branded intro (I'll provide graphics) 20-30 sec cold-open hook pulled from the strongest moment, placed before the intro — should create curiosity, not clickbait Nice-to-have (quote separately): 3-5 vertical clips (Shorts/Reels) with hooks + captions 1 YouTube thumbnail using brand colors: navy #002649, white, grey #dddddd, gold #cfb53b Budget: ~$150 for the core edit. Quote clips/thumbnail as add-ons. Timeline: Next few days, end of next week at latest. Please share examples of podcast/interview edits you've done (not general video work) when applying — priority given to editors who understand authentic, retention-focused editing over flashy/corporate styles.
