Podcast Videographer / Multi-Cam Operator (LA, recurring contract)

A growing business interview podcast is hiring an LA-based videographer to set up and run a 6 to 7 camera podcast configuration on shoot days. Equipment is provided. This is a 1099 contract with strong potential to become a standing weekly or biweekly gig for the right person. On shoot day, you will: - Set up, position, and frame our 6 to 7 camera package - Connect all mics, set levels, and monitor audio on every channel; confirm clean sound before roll - Lock focus and framing on every camera before record - Coordinate setup with our studio team and internal AV lead - Capture vertical social clips during the shoot - Shoot stills photography at the wrap - Manage cards, back up, and log all footage and stills onsite before anyone leaves You should have: - Experience running multi-cam setups (6+ cameras) - Fluency with professional mirrorless and cinema camera bodies - Solid audio chops: mic connections, gain, levels, monitoring - Ability to deliver both video and stills - LA-based, available on a recurring schedule
