SULHA EDGE Podcast Producer — Job Posting & Scope of Work Role Podcast Producer (Fractional / Part-Time) Reports to Najla Elmangoush, Founder, Sulha Edge Engagement Freelance contractor, part-time, ongoing Time commitment Approx. 6–10 hrs/week, scaling with episode cadence Location Remote (occasional overlap with Istanbul/London hours preferred) About Sulha Edge Sulha Edge is a podcast and advisory platform hosted by Najla Elmangoush, Libya's first female Foreign Minister, applying restorative diplomacy principles to leadership, negotiation, and high-stakes conflict in business. The show translates hard-won diplomatic experience into practical guidance for business leaders navigating risk and pressure, through solo storytelling episodes and conversations with former heads of state, diplomats, and global leaders. Role Summary We're looking for a producer to own the operational and post-production side of the show, end to end, so the host can focus entirely on content and guests. This is a hands-on production role, not a general assistant position — the right candidate has run the full pipeline for an interview-format podcast before. Scope of Work Editing & Post-Production — Edit each episode (audio and video) to broadcast quality: cutting silences and filler, mixing levels, noise reduction, adding intro/outro music — Maintain consistent sound and pacing across episodes — Add chapter markers and basic show-note timestamps Distribution — Upload finished episodes to the hosting platform (Buzzsprout) on schedule — Write and format episode-level show notes and titles — Manage submission and troubleshooting across Apple Podcasts, Spotify, and YouTube Guest Coordination — Schedule recording calls with guests and their teams, including high-level principals (former heads of state, diplomats) — Send prep documents and technical/recording instructions to guests ahead of time — Confirm logistics and handle last-minute rescheduling with discretion and professionalism Social & Clips — Cut audiograms and short clips from each episode for LinkedIn and Instagram — Populate branded quote card and episode thumbnail templates per episode — Coordinate posting schedule with the host's content calendar Production Calendar — Maintain and circulate a rolling production schedule (recording, editing, publishing dates) — Flag bottlenecks early enough to protect the publishing cadence Candidate Profile — Proven experience producing an interview-format podcast, ideally with public figures, executives, or media-trained guests — Strong audio/video editing skills (e.g. Descript, Adobe Audition, Premiere, or equivalent) — Comfortable managing scheduling with high-profile guests' offices and assistants — Excellent written English; Arabic fluency a strong plus given the show's bilingual audience — High discretion — comfortable handling politically and diplomatically sensitive content — Self-directed; comfortable owning a full pipeline with minimal oversight To Apply Please send a short note on your relevant production experience, 2–3 links or samples of podcasts you've produced or edited, and your availability, to [email/contact].
