We are seeking an experienced researcher with a strong publication record to support multiple research and writing projects in political science, public policy, political economy, economics, and related fields. The ideal candidate combines strong research skills with exceptional academic writing and editing capabilities and has experience preparing work for journals, conferences, policy publications, and thought leadership. This role includes research support, editorial collaboration, publication strategy, and project management. Responsibilities Research Support Conduct literature reviews and source identification. Summarize academic papers and policy reports. Identify supporting evidence, data, and references. Help strengthen research arguments and identify gaps. Editorial & Writing Support Edit manuscripts for clarity, structure, and flow. Help organize complex ideas into compelling academic writing. Draft outlines, executive summaries, policy briefs, and supporting materials. Assist in preparing conference abstracts, journal submissions, white papers, and articles. Ensure consistency in citations and formatting. Publication Strategy Identify suitable journals, conferences, policy publications, and essay competitions. Develop publication and dissemination strategies. Prepare submission packages. Track deadlines, submissions, reviewer feedback, and revisions. Project Management Maintain a publication pipeline. Coordinate multiple concurrent research projects. Provide weekly progress updates and recommendations. Qualifications PhD, or Masters candidate. Background in Political Science, Public Policy, Political Economy, Economics, International Relations, Law, or related disciplines. Strong publication record. Excellent academic writing and editing skills. Experience with peer-reviewed journals, conferences, and policy publications. Familiarity with AI-assisted research tools is a plus. Ideal Candidate The ideal candidate enjoys transforming complex research into polished, publication-ready work while helping maximize its scholarly and practical impact. You should be highly organized, intellectually curious, and comfortable collaborating on multiple long-term research projects.
