Portal Design for Global Insight

My request: I'm looking to build a portal that allows users to interrogate structured data currently in an Excel workbook (80+ separate datapoints in the dataset) by specifying which countries they want to compare (up to 4 countries from the 200+ countries in the dataset) and which datapoints (up to 16) they want to look at. The portal will then display a graph (usually a spiderweb if more than 7 datapoints) comparing the results for the countries selected. The portal needs to be accessible to the public via the website transparentborders.com which is built in Framer. The cleanest approach is: Keep Framer as the public-facing website. Build the data portal as a small web app. Embed or link it inside transparentborders.com. Store your Excel data in a structured format that powers dynamic charts. What You’re Building A public-facing benchmarking/comparison tool where users can: Select up to 4 countries Select up to 16 indicators/datapoints Generate comparative visualisations View radar/spider charts and other chart types Potentially export charts/images/PDFs Access everything through your website This is essentially a lightweight analytics dashboard.
