Portugal Lawyer Needed for Ongoing External Counsel Support

We are a Portugal-based professional services advisory firm looking for a Portugal-qualified lawyer or law firm for recurring external legal counsel support. The first step is a written screening and small pilot/retainer discussion. We are not sharing the firm name or client details at proposal stage. Please price based on the scope below. What we may need support with - Commercial contracts, engagement terms, supplier agreements, NDAs, and service terms. - Corporate matters for a small Portugal-based advisory business. - Employment and contractor questions. - Data protection and confidentiality matters. - Immigration/residency coordination where legal input is needed. - Dispute prevention, debt recovery triage, and litigation referral if needed. - Client legal questions that fall outside tax advisory scope. - Occasional review of wording where legal risk may affect a professional services firm. Requirements - Registered lawyer with the Ordem dos Advogados in Portugal, or a Portuguese law firm with qualified lawyers. - Fluent English and Portuguese. - Comfortable supporting international clients and cross-border situations. - Able to confirm conflicts before any matter. - Professional liability insurance. - Clear fee structure and practical response times. - Willing to work as an external counsel/referral partner on a recurring basis if the first engagement works well. Your English-speaking client experience. 4. Whether you can support contracts, corporate, employment/contractor, data protection, immigration coordination, dispute prevention, and litigation triage. 5. How you handle conflicts, confidentiality, and professional liability insurance. 6. Your fee structure: hourly rate, minimum billing increment, fixed-fee options, and whether a small monthly retainer is possible. 7. Expected response times for ordinary and urgent requests. 8. Examples of similar ongoing external counsel relationships, anonymized. 9. What information you would need before accepting the first matter. Budget We are using an hourly range for comparison, but please also propose a practical first-month pilot or retainer option if you offer one. The goal is to find a long-term legal partner, not a one-off document reviewer.
