Portuguese (Portugal) Localization Proofreader (LQA)

We are looking for an experienced Portuguese (Portugal) Localization Proofreader to perform a final linguistic quality review of professionally localized e-learning content. The translation has already been completed by an experienced linguist following detailed localization guidelines. Your responsibility is to ensure the content is linguistically accurate, culturally appropriate for Portugal, and ready for final delivery. Responsibilities: • Review and proofread localized e-learning content for accuracy, fluency, and naturalness. • Ensure compliance with the provided localization and style guidelines. • Identify and correct grammar, spelling, punctuation, formatting, and terminology issues. • Verify consistency in language, tone, and terminology throughout the course. • Ensure the content reflects natural European Portuguese usage and is culturally appropriate. • Flag and resolve any remaining localization or linguistic issues. Requirements: • Native speaker of Portuguese (Portugal). • Proven experience in localization proofreading or linguistic quality assurance (LQA). • Experience with e-learning, corporate training, or IT/cybersecurity content is an advantage. • Strong attention to detail and consistency. • Ability to deliver high-quality work within the agreed deadline.
