Project Title India PR Outreach – Columbia University Alumni Feature & Career Achievement Story Project Description I am a U.S.-based Risk Management executive and alumnus of Columbia University. I was recently featured in a Columbia University alumni spotlight. I am seeking an experienced India-based PR professional or media relations specialist to secure earned media coverage in India. Objectives Obtain media coverage in India for my professional achievement story. Focus on hometown and regional media first, followed by business and education media. Position the story around professional achievement, education, leadership, and international recognition. Target Media Priority 1 Varanasi and Mughalsarai/Chandauli regional media Hindi and English newspapers Regional digital news platforms Priority 2 Indian business and financial publications Education and career publications Leadership and professional achievement platforms Scope of Work Review existing Columbia feature and supporting materials. Create or refine media pitch and press release. Build targeted media list of relevant journalists and editors. Conduct direct outreach to journalists and editors. Conduct at least 2–3 follow-up rounds. Provide weekly outreach status reports. Share all media responses and opportunities for interviews. Deliverables Media list with contact details. Final press release/media pitch. Outreach report showing publications contacted. Summary of responses received. Coverage links obtained (if any). Required Experience Demonstrated media placements in India. Experience with regional and business media. Please provide examples of previous coverage secured. Budget Fixed-price project. Important I am not looking for paid advertisements or sponsored articles. I am seeking earned media coverage through journalist outreach and relationship management.
