Project: Postcard design to recruit small business advertisers for a hyperlocal neighborhood print publication. Size: 5×7 (or 4×6 — designer can recommend based on layout) What this postcard is: A direct mail piece sent to independent small business owners in Brooklyn NY. It should feel like a warm, personal invitation to be part of something special in their neighborhood and not a cold sales pitch. Front of card must include: -Headline (I will provide — something like "Your neighbors are looking for you") -2-3 sentence description of what The Local Card is -Price point: Ad spots from $$$ -Website URL with QR code -Reservation deadline -Logo Back of card: Mailing panel (standard postcard back layout with space for address and stamp) -Tagline or one supporting line -Logo repeated small Design direction: Warm, elevated, independent. Think heritage print meets neighborhood farmers market meets boutique stationery. NOT corporate, NOT digital-looking, NOT busy. This should feel like it was designed with intention for a specific community. Warm tones, clean serif or refined sans-serif typography, generous white space.
