Power App expert to design & build an internal app (strategy + UX + build) - Microsoft

We’re a FMCG company supplying retailers. Our sales team need to calculate promotional & pricing and send professional email with PDF quotes to their clients. We want to build a clean, fast, secure internal app to make that effortless, on our existing Microsoft 365 Enterprise environment. What we’re looking for: An experienced Power App Platform professional who can own this end-to-end: help shape the solution strategy, design an intuitive interface, and build a production-ready app. We have detailed requirements, our pricing logic, and clean data ready to go. But we want your expertise on architecture, UX, and best practice, not just order-taking. This is a from-the-ground-up build; we’re open to your recommendations on the best way to structure it within our Microsoft stack. Scope of work: •Discovery & strategy: review our requirements and data, recommend the best architecture (Canvas app, SharePoint vs Dataverse, flows), and map the build. •UX/UI design: design a simple, modern, on-brand interface optimised for speed on mobile, tablet, and desktop (fully responsive). •Core build: a pricing calculator driven by our product/retail stores/deal data; an order basket; a quote preview. •Send quote: generate a branded PDF and email it to the store from the sales own Outlook, with full send-history logging. •Store directory: searchable store picker from a store list, auto-filling contact details. •Approval workflow: sales team requests extra promotions or discount → routed to their manager for one-tap approval → status tracked in-app. •Security & roles: domain-restricted access, individual accounts, admin approval for new users, and sales-vs-Admin role separation, with correct data-layer permissions. •Admin console: manage stores, banners, users, and view all quote/send history. •Handover: clean documentation so our non-technical team can maintain everyday data. Must-have skills & experience: * Proven delivery of Power Apps (Canvas) business apps , please share 2–3 examples with your role on each. •Strong Power Automate (Approvals, Outlook, PDF generation, SharePoint/OneDrive actions). •Solution architecture judgement: SharePoint vs Dataverse, delegation and performance with large data sets, indexing. •UX/UI design ability, not just functional, but genuinely clean and easy to use. Portfolio or screenshots essential. •Security & governance best practice for internal M365 apps (role-based access, scoped permissions, data protection). •Clear written English and the ability to advise non-technical stakeholders. Nice to have: Dataverse experience, Power Platform certification (PL-100 / PL-400), and prior work on App development or similar tools.
